Annelies Verachtert

Annelies Verachtert is coordinator of the Cédric Hèle Institute, which is the Flemish Institute for Psychosocial Oncology. She follows up on scientific research in psychosocial oncology. She holds a master’s degree in social work. She was part of the scientific team of the Cancer Plan and worked with people with cancer as an oncology coach for several years.
